Julian Gardner

Julian Gardner was born in 1978 in Manchester, England where he currently resides.

Julian is following in the footsteps of his father Dave, who was also a professional poker player. Julian was 15 when he started going to a local casino and won 10 tournaments by the time he was 20 and made 21 final tables by 21.

When Julian was 24 he became the youngest player to win $1 Million in a poker tournament when he finished 2nd in the 2002 World Series of Poker. Julian also finished in the money at the main event in 2003 and 2004. Julian qualified for the 2005 WSOP on the website Betfair, but did not make it into the money in the Main Event. Julian did make the money in 4 other events in 2005, including the $5,000 No Limit Hold-Em tournament and the $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha tournament.

Julian also made the final table at Poker Million VI, finishing 3rd, and won his biggest prize since the 2002 WSOP, £250,000.

In 2004 Julian co-authored "The Secrets of Online Power Poker" with Padraig Parkinson and Scott Gray. "I cannot believe how much we've packed into this manual," Gardner says. "We've revealed to any reader how they can win thousands of dollars."

Julian is engaged to poker player Kerry "Pint Size" Clarke, who he elminated when they both reached the semi-final of the 2005 888.com UK Poker Open.
