Kirill Gerasimov
Kirill Gerasimov was born in 1971 in Moscow, Russia.
Kirill started playing in poker tournaments in Europe in 2001. Gerasimov was backed by the Paradise Poker website in the World Poker Tour - Season 1 $25,000 Championship event. Kirill took 2nd and $506,625.
Kirill made his first World Series of Poker (WSOP) final table in the $1,500 No Limit Hold-Em event in May 2003. Gerasimov finished 6th and took home $24,000.
Gerasimov made two final tables at the 2004 WSOP when he took 5th and $30,060 in the $1,500 Pot Limit Hold-Em event, and when he took 2nd and $100,000 in the $1,500 No Limit Hold-Em shootout event.
At the 2005 WSOP Kirill took home the cash 4 times, 2nd and $108,775 in the seven-card stud tournament, 444th and $16,055 in the $10,000 Main Event, as well as two smaller prizes in other events that year.
During the second season of the European Poker Tour (EPT), Kirill made two final tables, a 5th place finish in London and a 3rd place finish in Deauville.
Kirill Gerasimov was number one on the Russian all time winning list prior to Alex Kravchenko's 2007 performance at the WSOP.
Kirill has probably made more money online than he has in tournament play, but he is not about to share the total.
