Tony Ma

Tony Ma was born Hieu Ngoc Ma in 1957 in Vietnam and moved to Southern California in 1985.

Tony "The Animal" Ma won a bracelet and $236,000 from the 1996 World Series of Poker $5,000 limit hold'em event. He defeated a field including John Bonetti, Johnny "Oriental Express" Chan and T.J. Cloutier. Tony won a second bracelet in 2000 for the $2,000 limit hold'em event and took home $367,040.

Tony Ma made the final table finishing in 5th place in the first season Pro-Celebrity Invitational Tournament in the World Poker Tour and his tournament winnings are over $4,000,000.

Tony Ma has 2 WSOP bracelets and 21 money finishes in the World Series of Poker and has 7 money finishes in the World Poker Tour.

Ma won Card Players' Player of the Year Award in 1999.

Ma now resides in South El Monte, California with his wife and two children.
