Online Forum Challenge - PokerDIY Team  (United Kingdom)
Modified By Rodders on 5/23/2007 3:47:11 AM)

Help us show the world how well we can play poker by representing PokerDIY in the World Series of Online Forums (WSOOF)

It's basically a series of freerolls where you play for PokerDIY and you are awarded points for your Forum. There are some great prizes and we'll share everything we win, and it will be fun...

So, how to play:

  1. Join the OFC PokerDIY Team by logging in, viewing the group and clicking "Join Group"
  2. Make sure you have a PokerStars account (get on through us if you do not)
  3. Register on the OFC site (you only have to do this once) with your PokerStars username and select "PokerDIY" as your forum
  4. You can play in as many events as you like - make sure you join them in PokerStars before they are due to be played.

Let us know here if you have any questions - come on, your forum needs you!

ps - thanks to silcenio and rifain for the idea and bringing this to my attention.

thanks,
Rodney

Quick Question: I rec'd an email from the OFC site that I was pre-registered...it also stated that you can not register for any games before 3pm EST May 25, that's today. BUT, I have gone to both the PokerStars and OFC sites and can't find where to register for the games.. Please help....newbie here!

Re: Online Forum Challenge - PokerDIY Team  (United Kingdom)

Have you got a PokerStars account already?

Sign up through us (see step 2 above) or if you have one already go to the OFC site (Step 3) and click on Register.

Unfortunately for the game tomorrow it is too late, but once you have registered you can play in the next one (I think it is in 3 weeks time) so do this anyway. You will then get a mail from them telling you when you can register for the actual event on PokerStars (it will match with the email address you gave them when you register).

Have you registered on the OFC site yet?

thanks,
Rodney

sniper - did you manage to register on the OFC site before the 23rd? If so, you can play in this event, but if not then you are going to have to wait for the next event - did you get an email from the OFC site saying that you were registered?

FunSeeker - hmm - lets see how it goes after this first event - this is new to me too...

thanks,
Rodney

Re: Online Forum Challenge - PokerDIY Team  (Canada)
Thanks Stew...I needed more luck! I came close to 10K, then lost it to someone with 2 higher flushes than me! Darn!
Anyway, it was a lot of fun...I saw that Frankiboy was up in 11th place at one time, but he lost it after a while too....good game everyone! Maybe next time....I say Rod in there around 1K for a while too! He's still in there, so maybe he'll come up for behind and win it big!
