Firstly you need to read our Poker Ad page and decide on the following:
- What type of ad do you want - eg. Poker Banner Ad, Text Link or Email Campaign
- The duration you want to advertise for (there are discounts for longer periods)
If you are choosing a text link ad or contextual link box then you need to choose what page to display it on too.
You then need to Contact Us with your requirements and we can discuss your poker ad campaign.
Once agreed upon, payment can be made via PayPal and we will make your ads live for review.
When your ads are due to expire we will contact you to see if you wish to extend them or not.

Finally there is the FreePokerDir.com, where you can list your poker site for free (we also sell ads there!). You can use any of these methods for long-term, free advertising.
Yes, you can view real-time reports to see how your campaign is doing. You can also upload new banners and remove old ones to tweak your campaign and optimize your CTR.
If you are a current PokerDIY advertiser you can click on Ad Reports on your Profile tab once you are logged in to see these reports.
Please note that impression/CTR tracking is not available on text link ads as they are direct links and do not record a "hit" when shown or clicked (this is for your benefit).
NoFollow is a tag on a link to tell a search engine not to follow the link to the target. You can read more about it here.
In the last few years Google has started to penalise sites that sell text links and ads that do NOT use NoFollow. Their thought process is that paid-links can affect search results and therefore are not accurate for the average user. We can't comment on that but we have to play ball with Google to ensure that we can be found by poker players who need us. You can read more about this issue here.
The bottom line is that we DO put NoFollow on our ads (and price them accordingly). There are some exceptions, please contact us for more information.
Yes, you have complete control over your banner ads and can upload and remove banners as you see fit (each banner will be submitted for approval by our editors to ensure they follow the Banner Guidelines (see the Poker Ads page, "Banner Ads" tab).
The Banner Guidelines can be found on our Poker Ad page ("Banner Ads" tab and specify the limitations for each banner size.
This is done to ensure PokerDIY loads quickly for all users (not everyone is on a super-fast internet connection!)
For example, the 125*125 banners on the right must be under 20kb in file-size and have a maximum of 3 animated frames.
The reason for the limitation on the number of animated frames is that we pride ourselves on PokerDIY's clean/non-flashy look. We know how irritating it is to be bombarded with flashing colors and "CLICK HERE" type ads and we don't want to see them on PokerDIY. All ads that get uploaded go through an approval phase - please check that your banner ads adhere to these guidelines.
