Player Stats are a poker players personal statistics for the poker games they have played.
For example, here is a real live poker player's stats. Where-ever you see this icon
on PokerDIY you can click-through to see that player's poker league scores and statistics.
Poker stats of course are only shown for poker games that are recorded on PokerDIY for a poker league. Scores are based on the current season for a league so that you can compare your performance from previous years and seasons.
The scores you see for a player are for a particular poker league and season. If you click on a user it will load their default league (if a member of more than one poker league) and the season that they last played a game in.
The scores are always only across one season (seasons can change the way they are scored with points/profit etc). The Player Stats page will show the league and season the scores are based on at the top of the page.
For example, on this player's poker stats the poker league is "Rod's Sydney Poker League" and the season these stats are based on is the "2009 Season - Second Half". Here is the same player and league but with a different season (2009 - First Half). As you can see the stats are different as they cover a different time period of the poker league.
Bear in mind that you must have played some poker games and have the results recorded on PokerDIY for your score to be shown.
We'll use this player's live stats as an example to explain!
Finishes are the position that you ended a game in. If you are playing a tourney-style game this is the position that you were knocked out in.
The medals
on the Player Stats screen show how many times you have been 1st, 2nd and 3rd over the course of the season taking all of the poker games into account.
The bomb icon
is not a good thing. This is the number of times that you have come last in a poker game (i.e. First out!). The lower the better...
It also shows your best placing (hopefully number 1!) as well as your worst and your average.
You may see a couple of new words on the player stats screen. We'll use this player's live stats as an example to explain!
Profit - This is the total amount you have won (Total Winnings) minus the total amount you have bought in (Total Buy-In). It can be negative too in which case the figure will appear in red.
ROI - Stands for Return On Investment. It is the amount of money you received back from your initial investment. So on this player their ROI is 17.86%. This means that for every $1 they spent they got back $1.17 back. You can get to this figure by taking the amount that you got back (Total Winnings) - the total amount you put in (Total Buy-In). In the example this is $990 - $840 = $150 profit. $990 is 17.86% more than $840. It can be negative.
Cash Payouts - This is the number of times you have been awarded any amount of cash in a poker game. It is not necessarily more than the amount you put in unfortunately!
Hitman - When you knock someone out or they knock you out of the game. So if your hand was the hand that knocked out Charlie then you are Charlie's "assassin" or Hitman for that game. You can knock out more than 1 person at once and you can even be knocked out by more than one person at once in the case of a split pot. This table shows the number of times that you have knocked every other active season player out and how many times that have knocked you out. So in the example, Jeff has knocked Sandy out 8 times over the season but Sandy has only knocked out Jeff 3 times in return. The higher the first number the better for you!
Heads Up - This is the amount of times you have played one-on-one poker with someone, i.e. only 2 people. It does not matter if you started with more and made it to the last 2 or if you only started playing with 2 players. The % Won is the amount of times you have won the Heads Up game.
You need to have played some poker games and recorded the results on PokerDIY for them to show up.
If you are a member of more than one poker league then set your default league on the league page to the one you want to appear when someone is looking at your profile stats.
Make sure you are logged in and click on go to your My Player Stats page - are there results here?
If you have done all this and you still cannot see your stats then please contact us and we can help sort it out.
All you need to do is find your poker league and drill down by season to see that particular season's scoreboard (remember that the poker league shows the current season's scoreboard only).
At the bottom of the poker league page is a list of all the seasons the league has played. For example, on this London Poker League there are a couple of seasons all the way back from 2003-2007.
The poker league page will show the latest, current season with the player stats icon next to each player. Click on a season to see the scoreboard for that particular season and then click on the player stats icon to drill down by that season's stats. For example, here is the 2006 season from that league. Expand the scoreboard and click on a players stats. Here are Craig T's stats for that season.
Yes you can, with PokerDIY Mobile. You can browse other poker player stats and see a scaled-down version of your own player performance stats on your mobile.
