We average around 1400 unique visitors a day (43 000+ per month), with each visitor averaging around 2.1 minute per visit giving over 130 000 page views a month (we use AJAX heavily so this is not a good metric). Since PokerDIY's launch in November, 2005, growth has been phenomenal - we now have almost 41 000 poker players  - see the stats on the right handside for up to date figures.

Demographics
Our main visitors are obviously poker players with an interest in home page games, poker leagues or interest in playing in our exclusive freerolls. There is a good market for home poker equipment and general poker interests.

Average Visitor Profile:

• Education: Varies
• Interests: Online poker and live home poker games, sports, computers

Below is a Google Analytics snapshot for a single month compared to the previous month.  As you can see, most of our traffic comes from search engines (Google in particular) and most traffic is from the United States.

Want good brand visibility and a lot of traffic? Display your brand on ever single page on PokerDIY (that's over 40 000 pages!). Your ad will go between the top PokerDIY logo and the Login details on the right.

Maximum file size: 10k, 3 Animation frames max if animated.

Sitewide Content Banner Ads - 468*60

There are only ever 3 468*60 banners shown on PokerDIY at any one time. These banners are in the middle or at the bottom of 95% of PokerDIY's pages (yes, with over 36 000 profiles and 8000 poker games that is a lot of pages!). Due to demand you need to book these well in advance.

Maximum file size: 30k, 4 Animation frames max if animated.

Sitewide Right Banner Ads - 125*125

Poker banner ads must be 125 x 125 images and will appear on the top right as indicated by the red rectangle. A maximum of 8 banners are shown at a time on 90% of PokerDIY pages (all the main pages have banners on).

Maximum file size: 20k, 3 Animation frames max if animated.

Banner Guidelines

Banners must adhere to the maximum files size and animation frame limit (if animated).

All banners are subject to approval as we do not like to harrass our users with flashy banners. We prefer static banners, but will accept animated ones if they are not too obviously in-your-face-click-me-now type-banners. Our poker players will click on your banner if you offer a useful service, not because of the bright colours or flashy tricks.

Email Advertising Campaign

We also offer email adverts at the bottom of PokerDIY emails. For example, Event invitations are sent to members whenever someone sets up any event and invites a PokerDIY member. As an example - each time the PokerDIY Freeroll Invites go out they go to 1500 (and growing!) people at a time.

Emails are also sent every time ANYONE does a Friend Requests or sends a Private Message Notifications. Your link and description (10 words or less) will be in the signature area of all emails for the duration of your campaign. As you can imagine, you are sending your advert straight into the mailbox of a poker player.

Custom Page
You can do what you like with your page! Some people add FAQs and logos with lots of links to their site, while others keep it simple - it's up to you. We give you edit rights on the page so you can change it as often as you like.

All pages are put under the Poker Articles section with a nice listing to it and more links back to your site with a SE and human friendly URL like http://www.pokerdiy.com/poker-articles/rakeback.aspx

This is a great way of improving your SEO - here is an example of a long-term advertiser who has achieved a PR4 on their page! Your link will appear on our Sitemap (linked to from the homepage and all other pages) as well as in the main menu structure (ie. every page links to it). In the past a new page appears in the Top Ten results of Google within 3 days, but we obviously cannot guarantee this. 

Your page will also be included in our XML Google SiteMap to help Google crawl it.

Advert Swap
