Last night's game was the biggest poker tourney we have ever played in the short history of the Sydney Poker League! We had 11 players slogging it out for the grand prize but it was new kid on the block George  who blasted his way to a concvincing win and 3rd place. Hopefully he and Luke will be regulars so we can win some of our cash back!

Danger man JeffRay Rourke did not place but local boy Olly showed a continuation of his pre-Christmas form to win the big un, the 11 player table! Davy played his excellent cards well but Olly's time in the trenches playing head's up against Rod last year paid off and experience weaned the chips off Davy.

It's early days in the Manly Poker League and despite it being "Year of the Leedy" (apparently) it's anyone's game at this stage.

On a side note, congratulations to Rodney for winning the post-tourney pool comp. He is obviously very good.

This season the league scoreboard is being sorted on Average Points and NOT average winnings like last year. There will be a Minimum Game filter of 10 games to ensure you have a true average (ie. you can't pitch up for one game, win and never play again).
