Where: Harry's House United States |
What: This is a live demo of a public poker event (there are lots of private ones going on right now that only the players who are invited can see). Please note that PokerDIY.com does NOT run poker games, but instead provides online tools to make your home games easier to manage... Basically, a League is a collection of Games (events, tournaments or whatever you wish to call them), of which there are many players (the creator of the game chooses the players, or can make the game public for anyone to join). Once the game is over, the host records the scores and the league tables automatically update, depending on information the league creator has defined. All players can then view the latest results online, or an email could be sent to them. Games (like this one), can be public or private. Public events can be seen by all, whereas private events can only been seen by the players invited to it. This means that you can put your address or phone number on the game info if you are inviting your mates around for a game. This text is completely customizable and can include images, HTML and of course, colors! After you have created your game you can choose who to invite to your game. This can be done by a user group (ie. your own groups of friends), or by individually selecting other PokerDIY users. You can use the Inbox, Forum and user profile search to find people who may be interested in case you are are short of players. Of course, they must be able to make it to the game on time! You can also attach data like a Google maplink to the venue, or invite non-pokerDIY.com players to a game (when they sign up they will be invited to the game with their email address). Please note, this is a demo event. Feel free to RSVP to this for practise, or create your own game and invite your friends to game! During this bet period, feel free to create a test game and invite other pokerDIY users to it - we want to hear your feedback! |
