There is a timer out there for sale. It acts as your dealer button and a timer I suggest that you get one for your home game any thoughts?

Yes, I have been meaning to buy one of these for a while - just need to find a place in the UK (you guys in the States have it so easy ;)

We use a little program on my cellphone to keep track of blinds (very nice little app from Concrete Software, but this is pretty cool...
thanks,
Rodney

No because we just don't allow it.  Period.  They can play online at home so don't come to my house and drift off into cyberpoker!!!!

Interesting point of view and very true, online poker experience has not to be taken to our poker tables because it has no sense at all.

As the question was about the timer button,
i think that this button is not necessarely for every home game.
U can easily use a normal Button and use a simple timer clock to stop the time.

A Great Button/Timer is the DB Dealer.

Its a button with a built in count down timer.  Iv'e used that timer for the past 3 years in my home games and it does work well.  It even has a clock, so if a player is taking to long you just hit the center button and the clock starts on him.

Original DB Dealer

I bought mine from a store, a better price from the site
