I do have some questions alright but I prefer to keep it to myself at the moment. I want to explore what is in this forum and maybe those questions might be answered.

This is an awesome forum.  I like the fact that you encourage newbies (like myself) and experts to come on in and ask anything they need to know without feeling foolish.  I am really happy I found this place.

 

For me, this forum is great. I already have knowledge and idea about poker but I want to explore more strategies and tips about it. In this forum we can share experiences and awesome ideas. Hoping that experts can answer some of my confusions about poker. 

i have a simple question. What is the point in poker and is it really based off of skill other than luck?

I actually sat back yesterday and studied alot of the things that were being discussed about poker on here. I sat down with my husband and told him the things I lesarned and oh my goodness he was quite shocked.

It's always good to have a well-established place to hang out with like-minded individuals.

Yes , i will use this forum at its best , i was in search of some poker fourm , to increase my knowledge

I have found this forum a big help for newbies and experts too . Everything is available for all type and level of players . Is it good to announce promotions of other sites which i know and didn't find here ?

For poker promotions and special deals you should use the Tournament

Yes it is true and this forum is a great help for all newbies . I am feeling lucky to be here as there is nothing rude to ask .

Poker has nothing to do with luck in my opinion, it's all about skill. Sure you just don't know what cards you'll be dealt, but the thing is how those cards are played.

I think that is why I like Poker so much, the skill level required. It's certainly why I play it as opposed to slots at a casino. I figure I have a better chance of winning because it more skill than chance.

I agree, I'm not into risk taking, though some might disagree that playing poker does take risk, I think it's a matter of playing smart. It's the same thing with horse racing, I always win at the track because I don't take silly chances, maybe my wins are small, but at least I'm not losing big.

Agreed! And speaking of horses...have you placed any money on the Derby today? I always place bets on the Triple Crown races. That's it though. I like the rush I get a little more than is really healthy!

I've yet to see them, but are there betting strategies here in this forum also?

No, I haven't placed any money on the Derby. I don't frequent the track, but I do try to bet wisely when I do go.
