Weare aware of this and looking into why this is happening sporadically.

Is it only when you reply or on all pages?

Mine seems to have calmed down again, and pretty much back to normal now.

but why when i post a new thread ,,,, does it have to 5mins to 2 hours toget the post aproved?

Hi there Andy, and welcome!!

Just to clear something, it's only the posts made in the "Intro" section that need to be approved first, this is something we put into place due to people making 5 easy replies on a match day to get the freeroll password. Unfortunately, us Admins sometimes do not get the chance to be logged in all the time and keep a close eye on the forums, so those posts will take a while to get through.

We delete quite a lot of worthless posts from that area, so we do monitor it often, but sometimes it takes a little longer than anticipated.

Please accept our apologies for the wait in your posts getting accepted in that section, and looking forward to seeing you around!!

Maybe are you using Internet Explorer version 6.0 ??

i dont think the site is slow for me is working very nice and fast maybe is smth from your computer

u know i like ur site but the new layout is a little bit crazy. i liked the calendar to the beginning. there it was easy to go to the events. now it is more complicated. may u change it again?

but for example the management of the forums is very good. never seen sth like that.

I have to say that it's a great site ..

But sometimes I get lost in all the options and links there are .. It takes forever to find the right page lol ..
Guess that's something that will time will heal ;) ..

This is a nice forum with good games too but your right it runs very slow sometimes. It seems to be working fine now but earlier it took a long time to change pages.

Yes I understand we still have some issues with the speed. I think Rod is currently looking at ways to update the foums, and I think he is looking at changing servers as we have had a few issues in the past with the current one.

Thanks for the comments! Firstly, it's thanks to our great Admin team that the forum management is so good - they do such a great job!

Layout: I have always said the UI on PokerDIY is holding it back - it's something I want to fix in 2008 (it'sa BIG job) but I need to find the right people to do it (this is the tricky bit). With regards to the Calendar - the reason I took it off the homepage is that although it was useful the Calendar is 5% of the overall functionality (the poker league system is the main drawcard!) - and hence it was stealing valuable real-estate on the home page. I am trying to clean up the home page (faster loading, etc.) so it conveys to new visitors exactly what PokerDIY can offer (the freerolls are just a tiny part ;)

We really appreciate feedback and are working as hard as ever to make it better....
