How do the Leagues work?

Leagues are essentially collections of users/players who are interested in playing games (live or online) against each other and keeping track of the score over a period of time.
A League has any number of Seasons/Periods, each of which contain one or more Games.

For example, the "Women of Beverly Hills Poker Club" might start a League for 2005 and 2006 (Seasons), and record the score of all these games within these periods and award prizes at the end of each year.

You can see the Leagues your belong to and create more Leagues here.
