I have played a number of different styles of poker over the years but none of them have really grabbed my interest or enthusiasm as much as No Limit Texas Holdem. It is, as they say, the Cadillac of poker - currently.

Do you think there will come a time when another brand will take over the top slot or is NLTH here to stay?

Does any one else have a preference of another still style? Maybe any success in some big tournaments too?

Please let me know your thoughts.

I really believe that Texas Hold'em is going to be the game to stick around.  However I do believe that many people enjoy playing with limits.  I personally prefer limit holdem unless I am playing in a tournament.  For tournaments I really prefer to play no limit games.

Personally I prefer Texas hold 'em over any other style. I have tried others and although they are fun I would still pick Texas hold'em. Since I started out with that style I am more comfortable with it. I prefer to play with no limits. I do play limits sometimes but not very often.

I love Hold Em, though I also play Omaha, both straight and hi/lo. Of the 2 I prefer Straight Omaha because hi/lo really appears to be a chasers game. I also play 7-Stud for a little bit of fun, but I'm not very good at it yet...lol. I'd like to get a chance to try RAZZ, I've only seen it played once and it looked interesting.

Texas Hold 'em is fun and I do enjoy playing it. I first learned to play 7 card stud and then omaha. I wasn't that good at 7 card stud so I have given up on that one for a while. I can't wait to learn more about the different styles.

I, like the rest of you, tend to stick with Hold'em.  I grew up playing all sorts of other types of poker but this one I really love.  Everyonce in a while, we'll switch around during one of our games, but end up right back with Hold'em.

I like Texas Hold 'Em too.  It's really the only poker game that I have played.  I am addicted!

I like to play omaha but am the most comfortable playing Texas hold'em. With my group it depends on what we are the mood for playing that night. Most of the time Texas hold 'em ends up winning out. I never liked 7 card stud and thankfully no one has wanted to play it during our games.

The best thing about Texas hold em is that anyone can play.  I think it is the easiest game to learn.  I don't understand the rules to many of the others like Omaha and 7 card stud.  Everyone plays Texas hold em, plus I am from Texas so it is the only game to play!

I think Texas Hold Em's popularity is here to stay. It is everywhere on television. It's fun to watch and to play. I've tried watching some of the other poker tournaments on TV but quickly lost interest. Texas hold em has become very mainstream and will probably stay that way for years to come.

Texas hold em is the most popular game of poker there is.  The reason behind this has to do with how easy the game, how entertaining it is, and the fact that celebrities and professionals are all over the tv playing doesn't hurt in building its popularity.  I love to play and so does everyone else I know that plays poker.  If there is a bad thing about Texas Hold Em I would like to hear it.

I think because so many celebrities play Texas Hold em that it really helps with its popularity. If celebs are playing then television shows are very interesting in showing it. It is fun to watch.
