I have studied strategy of game in one of online poker school.
Now I read the book Harrington on Holdem.

Much like the rest of my peers, I was sucked into the TV coverage.

I learned when I was a teenager at school, more than thirty years ago - mostly playing 5 card draw. The thing I've been struggling with for the last year or so is playing online - I find it much harder to read people I can't see. You have to play odds based on your cards more. Table image is much more important in live games: if your opponents believe you're a better player than they are they become much more susceptible to bluffing. But in online MTTs image counts for very little before the final table.

You can learn the mechanics of a card game in minutes but reading your opponents is the thing: once you can do that with a high degree of reliability, you'll be winning tourneys.

Knowledge is power. I first saw texas holdem on TV played on a video game I had, bought super system and the rest is history. I now run a holdem training site and life could not be better all because of POKER!!!

I learn to play poker at Bodog Free play, i used to read poker basic, poker tips and strategies and then try it all out at online. It was obscure at first coz i dunno how to distinguish other online players bluff and other poker tell, some poker players are giving a message which i read it as a collusion. And then i try at home games, which at fist time i take home the pot. Free poker games help a lot to gain my poker skills.

I learned to play poker in a free application Zynga poker game in Facebook, and when i have established my strategies I jumped into a real money poker game in PokerStars. Whenever I want to practice mt skills, i play at Facebook then after i mastered the strategies then i applied it in PS.

You won't believe it, but on my life this is how it happened. I was in Maths class around 1987 and Mr.Jackson came in to the room and I think he'd had a bit of an argument with someone because he said "Right, apparently you all know everything so, who wants to learn Poker!" We then spent the next 35 minutes learning how to play 5 card stud poker.
