When do you fold or get out of a hand? I tend to get out early especially if my hole cards are not very good. It's tempting to stay until the flop. Sometimes I feel I've vested too much into a hand to just let it go.

My friends know i am an early punk out. For me it ain't got beauty unless it looks like aces or faces.

I never can stand until the river and everybody knows it. They just ask me why i fold in.

Then it's funny when i do stay in because the best players can't figure out if i have gold or am just bluffing. It's a great setup if you can keep a straight face. i can't.

I fold a lot, which means I keep a lot of my money and not throw it away on bad hands. It also means that when I stay in a game people believe I have a great hand and usually fold. I need to work on my bluff and start staying in some hands just to throw everyone off.

I usually fold when after winning a big pot the previuos hand I got a bad cards initially in the next hand. I won't hesitate to fold right away in this instance.

I stay in more than I probably should but am getting much smarter about folding early. Oh sure, there's the odd hand where if I'd stayed in and kept betting, I would have done great, but the odds are usually against it without much on the deal.
