We must be aware of our behaviour in online poker casinos to avoid getting into blacklist? Any gambler here experienced getting into online blacklist? What are examples of really unpleasant behavior in online poker and will never follow them? |

I'm not aware of any blacklists as such. I've seen players get banned from sites completely and forever if that's what you mean. It's for either trying to run an auto/cheater or for incredibly foul behavior. Either way, they don't get back on easily since any new screen name goes back to credit card name and isps. |

Nod. I figure that's the only ways that I've ever seen folks get kicked off as well. I try to behave myself and be polite, so I've never even been warned that I'm in jeopardy of getting kicked out. |

I generally don't say much when playing... that way I don't have to worry about it.

What a site can do is ban your name and address and any credit card connected to that name. But they will sometimes also ban your ip address. So just get a new ip and use a different name if you are banned from a poker site. |

I was unaware of blacklists and missing this post, but a friend of mine was banned from an online casino an unable to get back under other names because his IP was blocked. |

It seems the rules on banning and cancelled accounts is different from site to site so unless you read the terms of service agreement closely, you don't know why someone is banned at times. I've learned it pays to read the fine print. for instance, on some sites it's against those rules to have a profile with a link to your personal webiste. Why anyone would even want to do that is beyond me, but there are those who like to advertise themselves. |

Yup ...tell your friend to go read the terms of service agreement on the site he was banned from ...he might just find the answer there. It's like those old signs 'no shirt, no shoes, no service'. |

Usually it's pretty apparent if you follow the rules. If not, I'd contact the site and see if they can explain - don't demand, just offer a genuinely confused email and let them know you really enjoyed their site. Maybe an agreement can be reached? |

Good suggestion. Not many sites will turn down customers unless they're repeatedly making trouble. I'd give it a try as well. |

I remembered before when I received a warning letter from the poker site. The site gave me a second chance to play in the poker table. I'm glad I was not blacklisted. |

Yeah, it's not worth it because you might want to go back there and play. Keeps everyone sort of honest and polite. A few rules don't hurt. |

These sites are businesses. They don't want to lose customers - so they only remove people who are a detriment in some way. A confused and concerned email works much better than shouting. It's possible errors were made. |

Actually, I think if someone goes to the trouble to email the company, they're probably okay. It's the ones who sort of go onto a site with little or not intention of ever going back that are the big trouble makers. |

Yes , sometimes even inpoker when you really get rude to other people , you may get banned , because even poker is a social game and you need to be polite with your partners |

I don't see blacklist as a bad idea, I really think that it makes for good business. Like in the bar business, you have to cut drunks off at a certain level because if you don't it will cost you money. |

Yup ...if a player is rowdy rude or mouthy, it's better to get rid of them before you lose other players in the process of letting him or her stay in the game. |
