I think that's what the ante when you arrive at a table is used to prevent. It's so players don't get up and leave to go to another table every time the blinds come around to them. When I lose a big pot to someone and then they instantly leave not giving me a chance to win it back, I get more pissed. But it's still free countries we live in, leave when you want I guess.

I don't understand. When you join a table you pay a big blind on your first hand. If you subsequently leave before your big blind is due, you will have paid one BB and one SB for every complete round. It's not as if you get to see any cards before you post your blind. If you miss a blind, you have to pay it before you can sit in again. What's so unfair about that?

I guess it's unfair especially when you have the best hand. Consider protecting your money first while the blinds are a sunk cost. That is, once the bet has been placed on the table, it is not recoverable.
