A bad beat is tough, but I think the worst thing that can happen at a table is if someone takes their beat quietly, but others start to tease them about it. I see this happen and think it's such bad manners and sportsmanship. |

I saw a man spitting on the table after he lost the game. He kicked off all stuffs that blocked his way such as chairs and tables. He even gave a flip you sign to all players in the table. I guess the guy can't accept the fact that he's a loser. |

There was a case of a guy who lost a load of money with AA for the third time that day. He took his lighter out, and simply set fire to them.
Class.

The flop came A 3 9. he then started ripping his cards in little pieces I was laughing lol. the turn 7 the river K the other players show ace q and ace ten and he is screaming i got trips kings but he had ripped his cards up in little pieces so he is putting them back together and they had to call the floor over he ruled in favor of the ripped cards but it sure was funny |

Wow, what a bunch of hotheads! They remind me of a little child kicking and screaming because they don't get their way. Face it, you gamble, you're going to lose sometimes! |

More and more, I'm seeing people online get nasty after a big beat. Either with the use of emoticons, or by swearing. Then there's the incredibly bad sport who will just start trashing the player who beat him/her. They make a complete and utter fool of themselves at the table. |

Avatars use has become a truely abuse so people who don't swear with words or attitude, do it this way.

Didn't someone go out and murder someone after a bad beat before?
Phil Hellmuth is also known for his outbursts after bad beats.
I've seen plenty of people have tamtrums after bad beats. It's quite entertaining! lol |

I've had death threats online....
I had KK and the guy went all in with 73 o - i said "if you're going to bluff mate at least have a snowballs chance of winning" and he went crazy after i won and put him out - challanged me to hu for $500, $1000 and eventually $20,0000 lol
Anytime i was at a table for the next few days he'd turn up, threatening me, asking for my address (I'm UK he was in Sweden) and eventually he offered to play me hu - If he won i'd pay $10 if I won he'd kill himself!!!
I cashed out of the poker site and went elsewhere as that was just too freaky. |

I agree, I find that they start tobelittle the winner using foul language...then they start going all in, and before you know it they lose everything and are out of the game...I say, serves them right then!
That's why Poker DIY freerolls are so much fun...we don't' get that type of behaviour at our games, it's truly fun, and that's why we are here, right? and if lady luck is on our side, we can win a little....but the best part is, we are having FUN FUN FUN FUN!!! and for the most part we have no goofs.....everyone is happy for everyone else. Hooray Poker DIY!
Best of luck at the tables!

Speaking of Phil Hellumth taking a bad beat and going crazy...
Phil Hellmuth vs Bryan Brandon Bad beat - Unhappy Hellmuth!
It seems Hellmuth wants to keep up his poker brat image because we see this all too often. |
