I was at a casino in new york and they did not want any cash on teh table. But the promblem was there is no room to have a big stacks they were jamming the tables with 11 players such nonsense. I never heard of that before from a casino

Wow ...was this in one of the big Indian casinos or a private club?  I know some of the poker clubs don't like money on the table because when they get raided, and they do a lot, the evidence isn't quite as glaring.

this was  at a casino , yeah in a private club I would nto have cash on the table. IF the cops come in anything on the table the cops take. But in the private club tehy will give you big chips so your stack is not that huge. In some casinos they use all 1 , 5 and 25 dollar chips

I had an experience like that once at a friend's poker table, but basically because of superstition, as it was not allowed either that ladies put their purses on the floor not having any other place to do that.

in the games I go to there would be no room to have a purse on the table. In hold em at least they are jamming 10-12 guys at a table. Its getting crazy no room at all

I think I'd be looking for a new game with fewer people! When it gets that crowded, it seems slow and just too complicated for me.

I haven't played with 11 players at the table before, but I can understanf your complaint of it being too crowded. I would try and find somewhere else to play poker if you can. That is just too many people for my liking, never mind not having room for your chips.
