I was jotting down a summary of important points hosting a poker game at home and this is what I found I need to do:

Check the equipment, offer game diversity, have food and entertainment at hand, and gather the right persons at the table... do I'm missing something?

There are 2 big developments coming from PokerDIY in the next 6 weeks or so - the first is a walkthough for starting a home (or online) poker league - from start to finish (chips/blinds etc.) and will be available on the site and in an ebook format.

The second is the PokerDIY League Manager, which will be a free, downloadable program for your desktop/Ipaq that you can use to record the league results and then synch them with PokerDIY (I currently write them down by hand and this is a pain!). This will eventually expand to have chip/blind managament, but this is a long way off (the last bit).

    thanks,
    Rodney

That sounds great, I can't wait. Like you, I write the stats down by hand and it IS a big pain. I'll been watching for the updates!

Hey pokerwiz1982, I'd be keen to see the link about the legalities. Cheers.

P.S. Is that for US games? Do you know anything about UK home games?
