How do we know if an online site overseas - like the Carribeans- is legit? Is there anyway to find out which is legit? How do they determine that?

I'm not sure if there is a formal way to find it out, but empirically you can do a whois on the domain name, searching for some background online either at forums or review sites, and dig further into such overseas site to find mismatches that come to the conclusion of legitimacy or not.

 

The best way is to see reviews fo that site in other forums and sites , there will be legit people who will be giving true and fact reviews about the site
