Hi Rod, not sure if i got to the right location for a type of software that allows you to track players based on the leagues scoring system.

What are the links to get to the software ?

Hi Steve,

The idea is that you manage your league online, there is nothing to download. You can start a your own poker league on the poker leagues page.

I play in a home poker league - check out the Featured League on the right hand side of the page for an example of the leaderboard. You basically set up your league and then record the results for games. I am also working on integration with a desktop poker league manager called "Tourament Director"- you will be able to export your games on there and import them against your league. This feature will be available in the next 2 weeks.

If you are still having problems creating a league then let me know - I am working on a complete "How to start your Poker League" guide that will start from the very beginning and document the whole process and how PokerDIY makes scheduling games and the league leaderboard so easy.

thanks,
Rodney

Excellent news Janos - I need some beta testers ;)

Seriously - I would really appreciate your comments and feedback when this goes live. The whole point is that PokerDIY should be easy to use (and free of course) and be useful, and I think we are slowly getting there.

I have just released some minor poker league software updates that I wanted to get in before I started changing the league back-end for the integration work.

Have you got a poker league set up on PokerDIY yet Janos? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!

thanks,
Rodney

hi Rod,

I haven't got a league on pokerDIY, because I use an other site for this purpose. I hope this doesn't hurt you. The Tournament Director (TD) software comes with a built in export function that works with a few recommended site. I am using one of them that siuts all my needs.
By the way it is a great goal that the pokerDIY site will be the next one that works with TD.
If you need I can send you exported files from TD, but I suppose you already have tons of them.

If I can any form of help, please ask.

Hi Janos,

No problem ;) It's always good to have healthy competition (great for the consumer) and as the new player in town my plan is to make sure my site can do everything all the other sites can do, and offer a lot more ;)  I think there are only about 4-5 sites in the world doing online poker league management, and my vision for PokerDIY is to offer this AND the social networking side of things (like MySpace/Facebook), but for poker players. League management is just one side of PokerDIY.

Thanks for your offer - I will definitely take you up on this as I will need test data.

thanks,
Rodney
