I bet in a car racing last night together with my officemates. Unfortunately, I lost my $100. And when I played online before I slept. I lost $50. Yesterday is not my lucky day. Better luck soon.

    That's beauty of poker.

I folded with AA not one time in my life.

You must be patient. This is most important in poker. If you aren't you shouldn't play poker

LOL...don`t be sad...everybody has this type of days...but there`s no need to be angry or sad...sometimes I get angry when I lose..and that makes me play very bad..I regret my play later..when my founds are smaller..lol

Several of the pro's will tell you that the way to chart your professional game is yearly. If at the end of the year you're up...you are doing well, if not then you'll have to next year...or the one after. They say you can't watch your rise and falls too closely, because you will slowly put yourself on a winning or losing tilt. Me personally since I'm no pro to this date, I believe the best way to work off the bad luck is to leave the game befoer I'm broke, and spend a few hours or days doing something TOTALLY non poker. Isn't it strange how sometimes you come to a table after a few days of ....ugh....work, and you play really well for a few hours, then the tides change? Or you play really well in a tournament for the first few breaks then you get tromped by 10-2 off? It's not always bad luck, it's just lack of attention or maybe even plain playing those suited connectors too loose? At any rate while I eat, sleep and breathe poker I too take frequent breaks to keep my attention (and interest) high. I'm not a firm believer of luck, but I know it's part of the game that I lose and win with.

I agree that there are times when you should just walk away from playing for a few days ....sometimes you just have to shake off a bad streak. I do that, and when I go back, it's usually changed.

I really don't believe that poker has anything to do with luck, it's a skill. I do agree that sometimes you have to walk away because you don't play your best under certain circumstances. When you've lost you tend to obsess and that effects how you play and will cause another loss, and another and another.
