    Hello,

first of all i would like to know wat people think and like better about either tourny or cash style games so post away

in my opinion i like tourny better just because i seem to play better and i make more money in tournaments then i do in cash tables so that is my take on the subject and i look forward to hearing some more from the members

for me its cash game with stakes $1/$2 or higher, if lower; its tourney the best. the high blinds are usually more poker related game compared to lower stakes. but u can get hurt if u`re not watching the table before entrance.

Im pretty unlucky with playing cash games and won pretty much with tournaments. So  definetely Tournament plays. I also love the cash games.

I think that if you are starting out play as many freeroll/ low entry tournys as you can, that way you get used to on-line play and how other people play against you and the table. Once you feel confident enought and able to read the play hit the cash tables and hopefully watch the money roll in ;o).

I like to play cash games. My starting bankroll was $50 so u cant do very much with this. I had 2 options: playing on tournaments with $3 buy-in (so 17 buyins) or playing cash games at small stakes ($0.02/$0.04) (10 buyins). It was very hard to "double up" my bankroll, but i made it in 1 and a half month.

I prefer tourneys that last no more than 2,5-3 hours.

In cash games you can get rid of all of your money in just a moment, when you feel too sure or play too aggressive.
But may be thats the reason most of the cash game players play less aggressive and are more readable sometimes.
In tournaments you go faster till the end. You have nothing to losse, just your Buy-In.

Both Styles r important, but I prefer Cash Games at the moment.
You just can start playing everytime, and dont have to wait for the start.

i avoid cash tables because i might go all in on a hand i think is hand and some might call with a bigger hand and this way you will lose cash unlike int tournies you will just lose chips

I have made more than 80% of my money playing MTT's and SNG's. I like them because there is only a limited amount u can loose on a bad beat, much smaller than what u can loose at a cash table (ring).

It is a really difficult choice.
I think that when I have the time I prefer the tournaments (with maximum 1000 players).

When I have a little time I like to play some hands in a ring game (and I enjoi it)

I agree with bean: I have the same problem with cash tables... I am used to think that my bankroll is not real money, meaning that I do not think that I can stop and go away at any time. So I sometimes go all-in, because it's a good hand to play in tournament... ut cash game can be painfull....

Moreover, I usually think that the blinds are gowing, so it happens that when I go short stacked, I paly more aggressive and loose....

Cash game is not good for me... :-))))

to day the 12th July i had $15 on $0,25/$0,5 table i whent up to a win of $46,62 and then i went $15 on a $0,5/$1 and got a win of $73. got into the tournaments and lost it all. played different cards like the good AK KK AA JJ and so on, but lost due to low cards making threes and strike and flush and fours. what ever I did, I lost BIG TIME. Tournamets are the biggest buhuu ever. (lol) even when you see a big prize tournaments you have over 600 to beat to get big. need to sit in for over 3-7 hours and hope for a prize. take the same time in tournament you`ve played and get it over to cash table time, first of all you get the loyalty points and then better chance to get big bank roll.

So, Cash vs tourn.. 6-2. tourneys are def.. out
