Please welcome Noble Poker to PokerDIY. They've been around for a while and like us, they love poker. We are happy to announce that we will be kicking it off with a $100 freeroll on Monday the 10th.

Check out the lastest score on the Noble Poker Freeroll League. Hope to see you on the 10th for the first game...

    thanks,
    Rodney

Because of the french law, i can't participate to the ' NoblePoker Pokerdiy league'  :

"we appreciate your interest in our poker room.

unfortunately we are currently not accepting new players from your jurisdiction.

This is a decision made by our Poker Management, and we will be sure to notify you should this policy change in the future. "

Hope to see you on the others rooms !

That is very odd, seeing as you have a CDPoker account and it is the same software.... Have you tried emailing their support as the download may have "read" your IP as being from a different country.

I hope that you can get this sorted matey, it'll be a shame not to see you there,

    See you soon,

Yeah, sorry to hear that! But you play on other rooms? I would appeal to their support - we need as many as possible for the first game so that they offer us more - Celeb Poker have not been answering (literally not a reply - which is strange - could be a mail problem) and CD Poker have replied to late for this weekend! Really annoying relying on the agents but we need to get more people to these freerolls...

    thanks,
    Rodney

In fact, with the french gambling legislation, just few rooms (partypoker, noble...) don’t want take risks and don’t accept new players until a clarification .

But, the EU commission has judged that ‘ this state gambling monopoly  is not in compliance with Art. 49 of the EC Treaty on the freedom to provide services’ and has formally requested France (sweeden and greece) to amend its laws.

Since 30 august, France has two months to respond to the commission's concerns.

    More Info here

    So wait and see !

Urggghh, what happened to freedom of choice for mankind????

To be honest now, I think the whole internet gambling laws are ridiculous. If I want to play with some of my hard earned cash on the internet, who is anyone to tell me different? The only person who has a right to say where my money goes is the wife, NOT THE GOVERNMENT. Can you imagine the uproar that would be if WE decided how THEY spend their money??

Anyway, what can I do about it?? Bugger all, so I may as well shut up and hope and pray the UK doesn't follow trend or else I may be joining you Rod Down Under lolololol.

Good luck Lou, and hope all goes well,

I know the feeling, can't play on the bossmedia software network because their clients (a lot) have Sweden off the list of the available countrys... not to point out bad countrys but i believe ************** can play so why not Sweden? :)

    well i feel for you.

Sorry matey, but had to edit this post. I know you were not being racist, but it could easily be taken in an offensive manner

Just a friendly reminder to all.....

Please be careful when posting comments as we have members from all over the world here, and to disrespect another person's country may cause distress to that person and may start a racist arguement.

I totally understand Cmdoo was NOT being racist AT ALL, it was simply a comparison to his own country not being allowed to play online, against another country that is, but this could cause friction between certain members.

I hope this clarifies things as to why I felt the need to edit his post

Please don't apologise, I am fully aware of how you meant it, but the politics of certain countries already put a racist feel towards people.

We cannot assume every person from that country believe in, or agree with what is happening.

This is a poker forum where there are no boundaries or borders. I like to believe everyone here is equal, regardless of what their particular government believe is the right way to act and I am trying to protect that.

I completely agree with what you are saying though when why should your country be banned from certain poker rooms is ridiculous. But like I have already said, there is nothing we can do about it as silly as the law sounds. Typical.

I wish!! No, that was her VC account, I didn't see a penny of it.

Funny that, my winnings are OURS, her winnings are HERS.

Think I need to have a word with myself and sort it out, but as you all may know, "Mrs Me" and "money" are a good team and very hard to break....... apparently!!

2 weeks to go till the Charity night (Wednesday 19th September) when it will be decided who is best player out of us two though! Luckily there are 56 other people playing so I hope we are at different tables, and gonna keep tabs on how she is doing. I will never live it down if I crash and burn first!! LOLOLOLOL

    See you soon,

    Hey Dunjl,

That's right:  the french players who had already a Noble account (before march 2007 i believe), can play on this room.
