Well i was playin a 10 dollar tournament had king ten suited hearts someone raises so i call with the suited cards hoping to chatch a monster flop the flop comes out -Jack Queen Ace- all drifferent suites so i figured i have the best hand so i move all in someone calls me with an -Ace King- i have him beat so the turn is a -Ace- now the only way he could win is if he pairs the board or rivers a Ace the river comes out an -Ace- he gets Four of a kind Aces Runner Runner Aces to beat my straight!!!! after that i didnt play for about 2days!!! and that was on ultimate bet. |

yeah that sucks...runner runners are the worst...and that was his only way of beating you....a fold from him probably wouldve been the smartest idea...he had top pair...but still, with all 3 cards being high cards...you couldve had the straight (which you did) or any two pair, or set.....he probably made a bad call and just got lucky (obviously) but also put into perspective his chip stack...how much of his stack was he risking and where the pot odds correct and how short were you if you were going all in on the flop....so maybe the correct call, have to analyze it more, but yeah, runner runner blowwwsss |

If you keep playing long enough, you'll eventually see the mother of all bad beats, where someone has to hit two specific cards runner runner to suck out. I 've seen this a couple of times, including once on TV - an old WPT final table where the guy who's behind has a pair of 7s after the flop and trips would still lose, so he can only win by catching the two remaining 7s on the turn and river. |

Man o man that is sick. Flop the nut straight and end up losing. There should be some sort of rule against that crap. I mean how can you not lose all your chips on something as ridiculous as that. Sounds like my old beats when I used to play on absolute poker. |

It sucks when you lose on the river. It happens pretty often to me, unfortunately. |

It happens to everyone. That's the game, you can't always win. |

I see bad bets all the time and even made some myself. But thats poker, so if i get a good hand I go all in. So if I get AA no one will call befor the flop! |

Yeh my worst beat i can rememeber as i have had soo many was when i hit a straight to the ace on the flop i had a 10 suited and KQJ flopped and the guy next to me raised so i pushed em all in and he had a pair of 10s and as you can think he hit a ten on the turn and a ten on the river.. Gutted.. Lost me 55 $ or so ...:( |
