Please, note that the last poll has dissappeared with the update of our forum.
So thank to re-vote for your favorite room/network. |

Thought I would do my 1st post. I have a background in computer software and systems so online poker rooms and tables are fascinating to me. I have looked at some 70 sites both USA approved and none. There are only about 10 or so distinct software packages and many of the rooms have the same games/tournaments that they share in common with just minor variations. For instance Cake is a Family Poker of rooms I like very much. This family includes Cake, Doyle’s Room, Players Poker and 10 or 12 others. I happen to like Players and Cake the best of this group for Tournaments .. This brings me to your post and discussion. Of all the sites I like Bodog Poker the best. Easy to navigate, intuitive to use with good cash games and tournament for all levels. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

As I use a Mac, I believe that Full Tilt and Pokerstars are the best. Yet, the bad beats I have received with runner runners on Full Tilt is absolutely ridiculous. Pokerstars is much better than that site, even though the interface is preferable on Full Tilt |

I have played on Full Tilt, Cake Poker and Players Only. Overall, I like Full Tilt the most because it has the nicest, cleanest interface. Also, there are always alot of people and I can always find a game I like and the Sit n Go's fill up pretty quickly. |

Here is my $.02 on Poker Rooms for U.S.A Players;
.................but really I won't be blowing smoke up your........well you know. I have a background in computer software and systems so online poker rooms and tables are fascinating to me. I have thoroughly “Road Tested” some 70 sites approved for USA players and another dozen or so that aren’t. There are only about 10 or so distinct software packages and many of the rooms have the same games/tournaments that they share in common with just minor variations. Many of you will know the Cake Family of Poker of rooms which includes Cake, Doyle’s Room, Players Poker and 10 or 12 others. Most recently a medium size room that I have enjoyed, PokerWorld moved to the Cake Platform. I happen to like Players and Cake the best of this group for Tournaments. I play a fair amount at Poker Stars, Ultimate Bet (which I prefer over its twin Absolute Poker), Carbon/Wass Poker and they are all very good. For some reason I put Bodog Poker at or near the top of my list. It has its quirks and you either like it or hate it but I like the way the tables are displayed. It allows you to play multiple tournaments (which I do all the time) and know right where you are at a quick glance. Bodog is easy to navigate, intuitive to use with good cash games and tournament for all levels.
All of them have great incentives and freerolls so get out there and try some place new. I bet your Poker game will benefit.

I tend to stick to the Merge network. The software and graphics are pretty slick and the choice of tournaments is OK. I also like Everest which has a mostly European player base. I mainly steer clear of the bigger networks - the dealers don't seem to like me there. If you are continually dealt poor hole cards even the best players can't turn a profit.

To me it's Full Tilt. They have a clean UI where you can find tournaments very easily. I also think that they have the best freerolls! |

Hi there,
Do you still play at Bodog ?
because last year i have the intention to try this room but i have read that they have big financial problems ( apparently a withdraw can take 2 months )
