I was playing holdem in the casino and i got ppQueens.  I raised preflop.  Flop came   2 5 6     i bet, guy calls,  turn comes a 5,  i bet even bigger.   River is a ace.  I checked  the guy that called  flips over  ace 8, taking the pot.  Now did I play it wrong or was he just a donkey.  I was so mad after this I had to get up from the table and leave for a minute so I didnt say something to this guy that I would regret

unfortunatly some ppl think any A is gold. That guy one of them. I woulda just sat back down and trap him next time. if your there long enough you can see how they play. if he only plays aces you can get him on some good pots that he wont fold. Also depends on position. I got a guy yo fold his pr of A when I had K high. He always played A rag. Let him belive I had big kicker. Shown him my K 10 that missed after he folded and he was pissed. he went on tilt after that and lost it all. Be for that tho every showdown I dominated so he thoght he was beat.   

Learn from it. Dont be mad cuz it wont be the last.

You'll aways have someone that'll call all the way to the end it seems with A high and then get lucky on the river. You just have to expect these things will happen because that's poker!

Black gold is pretty high too. Oil hit another record high almost reaching $120. Hopefully everyone is winning at poker to help fill the gas tank ;-)

Stupid people do call with nothing. I just got knocked out holding pocket aces to someone with 2 7 off. The worst starting hand you can have. I don't ever recall losing to someone with a 2 7 before.

I raised pre-flop with my aces and they re-raised. I went all in and they called. HUH?

They hit their miracle straight and I'm out.

I can take bad beats but this is sick!

what was your first bet ? maybe it wasn't enough to disuade him ....

Loosing to people that call with bad hands depends on many factors:

- if it's a freeroll or a cash game sometimes people limp with bad hands.

- if it's a sng or mtt and people are very short they call with nothing cause they can't wait to be eaten by the blinds.

yea... all players call with nothing and have luck.....at cash table a player go all in 45$ with A2 and i have AK i call but on flop 2 .....what can i say.........

you played it right some peeps think ace loittle one is good but just remeber ho he was and how he plays and eventually you will have a dominating hand over this player and grab you loot you lost to him in this pot plus more.you may lose the battle but winning the ar is more important....

"ALL", I don't  think. Someone play on severals tables (10,12 tables) and they don't wait for to have a nice hand.When they get an A, so with a little kicker ,they raise "all in"  ($45 and  more)!!!
