I would first like to say that I WISH that I had more to say and conclusive results of what is happening at the Poker Dream Network.
As of a few days ago, Poker Dream Network, locked out its skin ops from the site and closed its forum. They also have let the Support Staff go and are not replying to ANY emails sent from ANYONE. We are under the impression that the new management “Rob” (PokerInRear / Dave / PokerInRear1) has been released from his duties. That is the only positive that I can currently come up with. He was worse than not having anyone for the network just like others that have been there prior.
I understand that people are owed money. You are not alone. The OPS are also owed a LOT of money that has not been currently paid. I for one have a withdrawal pending since February 4th, 8th and 20th. Do I expect to ever see that money? YES… However I don’t believe it will be any time soon. The “owner” of the network John Dutchak seemed to be the type of person that will pay people. However, In this industry you never can tell. I believe if we allow him time to figure out what happened he will eventually do the right thing.
From what I understand, Poker Dream was a victim of a credit card scam in which some of the people associated with Poker Dream were involved in. This amount ran into the tens of thousands of dollars and from what I have heard (hearsay) is that the reversal of cc transactions was due on the 24th of February. This is what ultimately created the current situation of the network.
I would say, “Be patient with them or a week or so. If your money is gone, its gone. It won’t make the difference of a week or a year and adding email after email will not help the situation. I for one would spend the time that you have sending emails about where your money is to more productive time of sending letters to your congress man or Poker Alliance to have them fight to legalize and mandate this industry so that it can NOT happen in the future.”
As for K9:
I’m truly embarrassed for the K9 brand. When I got into this industry, I got into it because it was fun and exciting. Only months after starting our forum the UIGEA hit and the poker industry was turned upside down. Sites began to close and steal from their clients as well as Payment Processors shut down to the U.S. and held money for upwards to a year in some cases. With the ruling passed down from the U.S. Government it gave free roam to criminals to steal. It allowed sites to shut down and not have any actions taken against them for downright theft.
I, (like Forrest Pump), have been cheated in this industry more than once from sites that pop up and promise big things and earn our trust to just close months later and steal from the people that we sent. I for one had enough of that and that is where the Poker Dream Network comes in.
When K9 purchased a skin from Poker Dream, WE (K9) wanted to have an impact in the industry and have a place that people felt COMFORTABLE that they could play and not worry about being cheated, stolen from, etc. K9 was strictly a SKIN of 56 others on the Poker Dream Network. We were off to a good start and had erased the previous reputation of the old Poker Dream Network in a matter of months. We were off to a good start. Since the network moved in a different direction on January 1st and adding on “Rob” the network has done nothing but go down hill and fast. The “Skins” have never had any control over the players real money, all real money deposits and withdrawals were always handled by PokerDream. Since January 1st however we have seen very little correspondence from the Poker Dream Network or the “Rob” character.
I truly feel that K9 was TRYING to do the right thing and create a place where you could feel comfortable and I’m ashamed to say that has failed due to poor management from the Network. We are only as good as our word and the Network has made us look extremely bad. For that I am ashamed.
In Conclusion:
Going forward I would suggest that you allow the “Network” to figure out a solution of payouts as well as whether or not the Network will continue. I for one do NOT want the K9 brand associate with this type of management. WE (K9) will NOT be a part of that. I do believe that “John Dutchak” will pay those that have money or requested a withdrawal yet I can’t be for certain.
K9 Poker Room would like to apologize to all of our loyal members yet this is something that is not in our control what so ever.
Thanks again for everyone’s continued support,
Shaggy
