I was recently asked this and I thought I would see if anyone had any suggestions...

"How do I clean the poker table felt without damaging it?

Dan"

thanks,
Rodney

It depends what you want to clean off of it. If it's some tough stains you may want to just replace the felt itself.

I did a search and found this for Pool Table felt although I'm not sure if it will help -

Found something else - This is said to be used originally on Felt hats or lampshades but I have no clue if it works on felt poker tables.

Dry Cleaning Sponge -

But again sometimes it's just easier to replace the felt.

Yes, I think they will find it way easier to just replace the felt. It shouldn't be too hard to dismantle the table to replace the felt. A search online or at your local fabric shop should get you what you need in terms of felt. You can get it for several dollars per yard depending on where you go.

Try some of these searches:

felt fabric

buy felt fabric

poker table felt fabric

buy poker table felt fabric

Old thread but: Good quality woven felt(the only kind suitable for a gaming surface) can be cleaned and restored with a stiff brush and a vaccum. I've cleaned some surfaces that were in rough shape. Make sure its dry first.
