Penguins made it a series with a win yesterday to get within one game. I hope they tie it up and then we'll be in for a great finish to the Stanley Cup.

Detroit won game 4 tonight by a score of 2-1 and take a 3-1 series lead back to Detroit where it looks like they'll win their 4th Stanley Cup in the last 11 years.

Pittsburgh didn't play at all like they did in game 3 and even though it was a close game it was pretty much all Detroit. Pittsburgh blew a chance to tie it when they were on a 5 on 3 power play.

Detroit Red Wings 2008 Stanley Cup Champions is something that looks guaranteed right now.

This year's Stanley CUp Playoffs haven't been as exciting as years past in my opinion. They were kind of blah! Even the stations covering them were kind of blah! The Super Bowl has a big show for the final "BIG GAME" FOr the Stanley Cup it seems like just another game for each of the games so far. There is no "BIG GAME" feel to the broadcast.

Well well well...Just when you think Detroit is going to go home and win it, Pittsburgh takes game 5 in triple overtime 4-3 to send it back to Pittsburgh for game 6.

This was the best game of the series by far and I'm glad I didn't bet on it because I would have bet on Detroit.

Now I don't know what will happen in Pittsburgh, but I hope it's as good as tonight's game.

The Detroit Red Wings went into Pittsburgh tonight and defeated the Penguins 3-2 to win The Stanley Cup 4 games to 2.

This is the 4th Stanley Cup Detroit has won in the last 11 years.

It would have been nice to see this go to a game 7 but Detroit was clearly the better team all series. The dominated play for the most part and shut down any offence that Pittsburgh tried to throw at them.

No the 2008-2009 NHL season is just around 4 months away LOL
