Bluffing online just takes a click of a button and you can act anyway you like and have any look on your face, but when it comes to bluffing in LIVE games and tournaments it takes a good poker face to get away with a bluff. So, how good are you at bluffing in LIVE poker cash games and poker tournaments?

I can get away with my fair share of bluffs

I can get away with my fair share of bluffs. It's more about picking the right spots to make a bluff or semi-bluff. I don't mind getting caught bluffing once in a while though because that will get them thinking when you have a big hand and they may call thinking you're bluffing.

Bluffing isn't something you want to be doing every time you miss the flop or have a weak hand, so you're right about picking the right spots to bluff. When I'm playing poker there is always someone that tries to bluff all the time and they are easy to pick off.

Many poker players get themselves in trouble by bluffing too often. This is even truer on the Internet than in live games. Bluffing a lot is just not a profitable endeavour on the Internet, especially in the low-limit games where you frequently have hands go to showdowns.

There are two main reasons to try a bluff in poker. The obvious one is the immediate profit you gain on your successful bluffs. When playing observant opponents, it is also necessary to bluff occasionally so that you will get action in the future when you have solid hands. If you never bluff you won't get paid off very often while a frequent bluffer will often be challenged. So it is the combination of the immediate profit gained and the advertising value you receive that makes bluffing profitable when done in the right spots.

Realize however that the Internet game is very different to live play. Bluffing on the Internet doesn't have the same advertising value online as it does in a live game. First, many players don't pay as much attention to the game online as they do in a casino and won't even notice your bluffs. They might be playing two tables, watching television, or reading email.

A poker player needs to be careful when utilizing bluffing in an online poker game. Bluffing during an online poker game does not work that well compared to poker card rooms in casinos. As a poker player, you can't see the eyes of your opponents, you can't read the body language of your opponent and you can't speak with your opponents in the hope of getting some inside information from them during the game.

A lot of poker players like to bluff because they believe that it works well and it is exciting. Although it does not hold the same value and appeal online as in casino poker rooms because it does not work as well. Bluffing your way in an online poker game is just done differently and with different tactics and goals in mind.

What a player needs to remember is that you do not need to bluff each time you are dealt bad cards. This will cause many players to fold even when you receive the good cards thus you will not receive any calls increasing the pot.

To bluff with your opponant at first try to understand their play strategy. Then observ their fece while you and they raising. And try to make you defensive player in front of them.Give check and fold at first frequently. While bluffing make ur face confident.

Since I used this strategy and it really works- Raise when you think that your opponent is weak and you have re-raise in order to fool your opponents because they think that you are raising because they think that your card is weak, it is a great poker skill to try!
