Hello there,

Excuse my bad English, I just wanted to know your opinion about celebrity poker on television. I don't know if there are similiar tv-mags in other countries - but in german-speaking tv it seems to be modern and "in trend" to pack a coulpe of semi and semi,semi celebrities around a pokertable and observe them while they throw their cards on the green felt like they learned playing poker few minutes ago.

Whats your opinion - is it positive for the Poker-Sport to show such low quality poker tragedies? When people who are not playing poker for a long time - this just has to look like Poker is all about luck? But otherwise there are a lot of  tv-mags with cooking, driving, football-playing or don't know what doing celebrities too...

Hi Brad,

I'd prefer, by far, to watch professional poker players...celebrity poker drives me crazy because they joke around a lot and don't really take the game seriously...basically they are there to promote their public relations and of course to make money for their favourite charities, which is a GOOD THING.....it's like watching a comedic show however, so if you are in the mood for poker comedy, I guess this is the show for you....again, other than the host's tips, which are usually always the same ol' thing, it may be the right show for some people.
