Tonight was the first night of ESPN coverage of the WSOP and it will continue every Tuesday until the final table coverage in November 2008.
I hope they'll be able to start showing the WSOP a lot sooner one of these years. I know there is editing that goes into the episodes as they can't air the hours and hours of poker they tape, but it can be done quicker.
The coverage of the 2008 WSOP by ESPN so far has been pretty good. Even though I already know the outcome of each event I am still enjoying watching what I only read about previously.
ESPN does a pretty good job of the WSOP coverage. I would love to see a lot more coverage. Perhaps in the future poker would become popular enough that there would be a Poker Channel, like the golf channel. Then we might be able to watch the full day of WSOP coverage LIVE the same day it happens or at least close to live.
I've added the first 6 episodes of ESPN's coverage of WSOP 2008 in the Poker Videos section. Just do a search for " WSOP 2008" and it'll bring up the episodes. I'll also be adding WSOP 2007 episodes as well.

ESPN started airing coverage of the 2008 WSOP Main Event last night and will continue, leading us to the final table in November.
