You have to take some chances in freerolls to accumulate some chips and give yourself a playable stack. Don't be afraid to get yourself all in on a flush or straight draw. With hands like big pairs, AK and even suited connectors (89 and up), try to get all in before the flop, preferably against one opponent.
Don't be afraid to go for it with a decent hand. Remember, there's no difference in going out first or going out on the bubble. Go for the win!

Play aggressive while blinds are low..get a stack & continue to build on it..most of the weaker players will donK out before 1st break..after that fold to the nuts & push when your holding & you think your ahead =) all or nothing to the bubble..then go tight again to final table..remember to adjust & compensate aggression wise for short handed & full tables when reseated..Best of luck & im sure you 'll be winning before long |

Depends in how many players in free. Bigger tournaments means aggressive in beggining. |

Loosen out and get more aggressive as the game goes on. When the blinds get high decisions come down to shove/fold realistically. You'll get there eventually! |

In freerolls position play is very important! Take care in multiway pots QQ is nothing, when you play against 6 opponents! Good luck, TheRabbit40! |

Play tight-aggressive and don't donk off your chips bluffing because people will call with anything. The level of play is usually incredibly low so just play tight until you are in the money then you can mix it up. |

There are so many things that are issues when it comes to freerolls...
I mean to start with there are enough folks playing bingo that sometimes, no matter HOW good y9ou play... it is not gonna matter. For me another issue is boredom... long FRs can be a pain and I, like you, tend to go out (lately at least) close to the money but... close only counts in horseshoes and hand-grenades... so.. I count a lot of this (for me at least) to be related to the fact that after 2 or 3 hours sometimes I subconsiously just WANT it to be over and somehow.. magically that happens... LOL POOF and i am a DONK! WOOT! LOL
You need to perhaps try some other types of games, cash tables, SnGs and see how things work for you... i did that and found that actually i do better at cash tables because i can stop whenever I want the important thing there becomes BRM which is a WHOLE other thing... that is the next step on my road to poker dominance! WOOT!
GL TO YOU!! |

These freerolls are really hard, because of the size. All you have to do is wait it out and eventually catch a brake. If you're ever in a high place with 100 to 150 ppl left then consider walking away for a little bit. You will only be betting the blinds and will come back with 40 50 people left and only be done a few thousand chips. Those chips shouldnt matter if ur over 60,000 chips.

be patient and wait for the right spot. The good cards will come to the patient to force it with somewhat bad cards |

in big field freerolls (2000 players or more) i usually sit out until half the field is out, about 45 minutes, then the crazy players are usually gone and you can play more realistically. hope this helps you. OJ |
