How do you approach rebuys? I tend to pay my buy-in, then try to outplay others to build my chipstack before getting some more chips during the add-on.

Other people believe you must rebuy early and often in order to give yourself a big enough stack to bully others off the table. They budget for a minimum of 3-4 times the buy-in plus an add-on later.

Which approach do you favour? Or maybe you've got another secret to rebuy success?

Nobody got any ideas on rebuys? I'm sure a lot of you play them. They can be pretty lucrative if you know what you're doing - so I'm told. Throw a few choice tips in this thread.

I think you can really be sucessful using just about any strategy in a rebuy. In the short term, if you have a limited bank roll it may be tough to go w/ the all-out strategy.

Playing with the correct bank roll is most important. I think 10 times 10 buy in's is min. I tend to play the first hour of a rebuy very agressive and somewhat loose. I want to see alot of pots and try and build a big stack. If I go broke buy back in. If you can build a huge stack by the add on period coasting to the money should be no problem.

I love playing poker with rebuys, you touched on a lot of the things someone wanting to learn good rebuy strategy should start with. most new players dont see the concept behind why you play so aggressively at first in them

Why don't you try to go all-in with any pair if only limpers or all folders came in before the flop and call any raise up to 8x the big blind, otherwise fold.

Seems to be a good strategy to have here. I just hoped that everything would work out fine in this one.
