I am here to tell you that U.S. online Poker is ready for a big resurgence. The legal aspects are being resolved at the federal level. The Obama administration is looking for public opinion but they are generally supportive of on-line Poker since it is considered a skill game. Deposit/withdraw options are growing. The popularity of the WSOP, WPT and the televised events are fueling the fire.

Even in a recession I see a big growth since you don't have to travel to get your kicks. It is going to be fun!!!

    I agree!

Once the issues of deposits and withdrawals get sorted out there could be a Lot of growth with online poker.

I am looking forward to a Great Year!

The overall trend does seem favorable since Obama took office, but due to the division of federal and state responsibilities, there are still pockets where things don't look as good. The most recent example to come to mind is in Minnesota, where some misguided legislators with too much time on their hands have decided to focus their attention on online activities including poker.

As of the moment, I think this has been very much good to handle. I just hope that everything would work out well in the long run for this one. Thanks!
