Yes they do,but do you? I certainly don`t,I may play a bluff if heads up on the blinds say,but I suppose if they have been getting lucky by raising with poor hands then this might be the reason they do it at a final table,I see no reason in my book for doing it often just because final table,I stick to my guns and if the good starting hands don`t work ,then hey it`s not my day.

i usually pick a decent enough hand and reraise them - if you say most of the time they have a lousy hand, they will be forced to fold it to your reraise. you don't have to do it every hand, just enough to recoup your blinds and extra (you will get the blinds + their raise, so you earn another round of blinds). sometimes they will wake up with a real hand, that's poker. |

Your strategy belongs to the stacksize!
If a chipleader with a monsterstack steals alot, be carefuel, every hand can put you out of tourney.
Yesterday I had the situation in an 8$ mtt with 127ppl at FullTilt.
I was shortstacked at the final table with nearly 16BB, I want no bingo with my trash cards, so I fold me to 5th place, a difference between 22 and 76 bucks!
Finally the leading guy cracked my pocket 10´s with 4 2o and a set of 2´s lol
Sometimes its better to leave the idea of play to win and reach a good position in tourney! |

I think that sometimes you have to bluff, but only if you have position.. and you have to read the others players to know when they are bluffing.. ^^ |

Been there done that guys who play all in aggresivly every hand are just playn there big stack they know if they bet big more times then none every one will fold and they steal the blinds or people will get mad and start calln with anything. Every once n a while sum one will catch big and double up but patience is a virtue ive seen guys with 100,000+ in chips bust out because they do that so just play smart. Call his bet or reraise mayb youll push him out if he reraises go allin (if you have good start hand or n position)just dont let them push u around for to long cause blinds can kill a stack |

There is generally a lot of blind stealing on FTs... at least the ones I have been on or railed...
I just recently switched my play up to be able to do that sort of thing... before I NEVER (well almost never) bluffed even a little... needless to say I wasn't a very good poker player! LOL
I think the only SURE way to counter an aggressive player at ANY table but especially at a FT... you have to give it back to them... if you always fold to thier raises they will keep raising.. at least iknow I will.. LOL |

You've got to play an aggressive game if you want to win the whole thing. Good cards just don't come around often enough for you to sit back when the blinds and antes are getting to you. The first step to playing an aggressive final table would be to spot players like I described earlier. These players aren't going to defend their blinds and if they do come over the top of you, you can know to get out. The key is having position and power on your opponents. If you really have a chip advantage on the blinds, you can try to run over them from late position with any suited cards, face cards, and pair, or whatever you feel comfortable with. These players might be too timid to even call you, and if they do, you still stand a chance to win. Plus they're not really going to take a good chunk out of your stack. With some luck and good timing, you'll be able to knock out some players and end up with all the chips. |

Yes size of stack matters but many pro players advice to play more agressively here, so you must adjust your strategy. |

You must work on your good starting hand, good bluff, blind-stealing and luck! When you're hitting good starting cards, your decision is easy. If you have an enough amount of chips and there are a few shortstacks at the table, your decisions are even easier. If you're on the big blind and you must raised all-in for not much more by a shortstack, when you're going in with any of the two cards. And when you're on the small blind, why not try to steal the blind often if your opponents not very aggressive. |
