By taking the lead and being aggressive you make your opponents afraid. Raising and betting a lot also makes you unpredictable. And unpredictability is a huge advantage in No Limit. If you play No Limit you must play to win and get money in the pot every time you can. Passive players will never be successful in poker.
2. Discipline
If you don’t have any discipline you probably loose all your money in poker. Poker from A to Z is based on discipline. There are many kinds of discipline in poker. You must have discipline to play the right cards, you must have discipline to manage your bankroll, you must have discipline to learn poker and you must have discipline to stay concentrated for a long time. Without a proper personal discipline you will never advance to a professional level.
