I prefer to play buyin vs' freeroll tourneys unless the freerolls have restrictions for minimum # of post to play..It it increases the quality of play by eliminating people that are just there for the freerolls and not wanting to post..The buyins are better because most donks dont want to buy in which reduces the field to quality players that are serious about BR building. ..

With freeroll, there's no risk of losing any money but a chance to win some in return because it does not require a real money buyin but pays out a prize pool of real money.

If you are starting at online poker, you should play first in a freeroll because this is an excellent way to start a bankroll to avoid having to invest any of your own money out of pocket.

I prefer to play in free rolls, maybe because I don't waste money.
