In Hold'em, there are 1326 possible combinations that are possible for you to get dealt. This may seem like a lot but when you consider the 52 cards in the pack and KH 7S being one initial hand, it is not really that many. If you listed every possible combination you would find that there are 1326 different possible hands that you could start with.

What if you just consider suited and unsuited vs each suite?

I know that Texas Hold'em poker has a 2,652 possible starting hands. The way that you first get all the possible starting hands is to take the number of cards (52) and multiply that by 51 times

The practical answer must be 1,326. Although there are 5,304 different possible hands that you can be dealt it really doesn't matter if your pocket aces are a spade and a club or a heart and a diamond. So by dividing 5,304 to 4 you will get 1,326 which you can get rid of the issue of suit.
