I've recently been using a poker odds calculator at PokerStop.com (PokerStop.com/odds-calculator) and it seems to work pretty good.  But I was wondering, do certain calculators have advantages over others?

My oppion is it depends on what you are looking for. Lots of stats just your outs and odds. There are alot of odds calculator even some just for tournaments. I have some reviews and screen shots of some odds calculators I have used and like on my poker training site www.onlineholdemtools.com check it out.

I like to use the 2% method to calculate odds on the fly when I play poker. I'm more of a read, gut instinct player than a math guy. But when I do want to figure out the percentages during a hand I count my outs and give 2% per out. For example a flush draw is 9 outs so 2% per out per street is 36%. The 2% is not 100% accurate but it is extremely close.

I tried using poker odds calculator for several times, I've heard that some people say it as cheating- its not! Instead, it increasing your knowledge, and then using that to become a better poker player.

This is a really good tool that you can use in order to play poker very well and with intelligence. I really hope that things would be efficient as you would be able to use this thing up in the long run. Thanks!
