Re: GSN High Stakes Poker coming back for Season 5
This is very good news. High Stakes Poker is one of the best poker shows. I've been watching some of the older episode in the Poker Videos section.

Re: Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet merge into CEREUS network
Of course the two scandal ridden sites would have to merge their networks together. They are going to brace for the storm when 60 Minutes airs the episode on the scandals.

Re: ESPN Started airing 2008 WSOP Coverage tonight
The coverage of the 2008 WSOP by ESPN so far has been pretty good. Even though I already know the outcome of each event I am still enjoying watching what I only read about previously.

Re: Poker After Dark Returns with Season 4
The heads up so far this week has been ok. Phil Hellmuth hasn't really acted like an idiot so that is a surprise. I would have thought he would keep up the poker brat image. He has to sell more poker brat label clothing ya know.

Re: Update from Ultimate Bet on their cheating scandal "investigation"
The fact that Russ Hamilton's name is possibly connected to this is big news for the poker community. This is getting bigger and bigger. 60 Minutes will be doing a show soon as well.

Re: 2008 WSOP World Championship No-Limit Texas Hold'em (Event 54) (Main Event)
Steve Chung was the bubble boy this year, but thanks to Milwakee's Best Light he will get something for not making it into the money - a seat for the 2009 WSOP Main Event.

Re: Erik Seidel Wins Ninth Bracelet2008 WSOP Event #43 $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo

Re: 2008 WSOP No-Limit Hold'em (Event 2)
I would have liked Chris "Jesus" Ferguson to win this event. THe fans that were railing would have liked him to too. They were the loudest when he took down a pot.   All this excitement is making me plan my trip for next year, unless I take dow ...

Re: 2008 WSOP Mixed Hold'em (Limit/No-Limit) (Event 4)
This was the big ESPN final table of the night last night. A few poker pros featured made ESPN very happy. They really need well known players to be featured to make it interesting for the fans that follow them. Of course poker lovers will watch any ...

Re: Anyone betting on the NHL playoffs?
It would have been nice to see this go to a game 7 but Detroit was clearly the better team all series. The dominated play for the most part and shut down any offence that Pittsburgh tried to throw at them.   No the 2008-2009 NHL season is just ...

Re: Anyone betting on the NHL playoffs?

Re: WSOP Schedule
If I was going to go to the WSOP I would probably just play in the $1500 even if I won a $12500 package for the ME from a poker room. I just think playing in multiple tournaments has better odds than playing in one big tournament. 6000-7000 players ...
