Sounds like a great time ....and you're probably still scrubbing off mud lol. I don't think I've ever felt as dirty as I did after my Glastonbury trip. I actually threw the wellies i worn away ...they were awful!

I jumped on this morning about 7 a.m. ....people in California were drunk and people in Europe were in a hurry because they were on lunch break ...over morning coffee, I did pretty damned good!

I learned from my father as well. We would play in the winter a lot so I picked up most of the games and loved it.

I don't think people care much unless it's holding up a game or if the person is consistently leaving when it's their big blind, that's too obvious.

I agree that there are times when you should just walk away from playing for a few days ....sometimes you just have to shake off a bad streak. I do that, and when I go back, it's usually changed.

It's just like chess, I prefer using timers. Especially online. At a home game, you can see if someone is doing it as a tactic, but online sometimes you know the person just got up to go to the kitchen lol.

Actually, the odd (and I mean very odd) double jokers are a real favorite, but I lost a huge hand with a pair yesterday. The natural aces beat me out on a four of a kind.

Yup ...if a player is rowdy rude or mouthy, it's better to get rid of them before you lose other players in the process of letting him or her stay in the game.
