Re: Time frame of games
I think it would be long enough for me. I like to go with my gut feeling. The longer it takes to make a decision, the more my mind tries to talk me out of going with my first instinct.

Re: Requested a new feature for Events
I like the RSS idea. It's nice to be able to know when new content is added to a website without having to visit. Days seem to blur together sometimes, and I forget which sites I have been to. RSS helps to make sure I keep on top the websites I like.

Re: Who are "My Friends"?
This is a nice feature. It'll be an easy way to coordinate players so they know what is going on. That is our biggest problem is getting the word out to everyone. Now all the information about our game is easy to distribute.

Poker Rulebook
Do you consult online or do you have a favorite poker book when you have a question about the rules? Right now I research online but would love to find a good poker rulebook to have on the bookshelf.

Re: Card design
It's http://www.customizedplayingcards.com/. Sorry about that. I usually try and include links when I mention a website but forget sometimes. I have an idea for a card game, and if I ever serious about it I may check more into their service.

Stakes other than money?
Has anyone ever played in a game where you didn't bet money? I was thinking of having a game where you bet candy or something else. We do a lot of card collecting so maybe ante some of those cards might be fun. It might bring a different dynamic to ...

Poker Munchies
What are some good snack ideas for eating while playing poker? I love potato chips but not sure how well a greasy food would go over while playing with cards.

Re: Some good tutorials for home poker play
We are also thinking of hosting a game at our house. We use to have friends over every Friday night play games. That was fun but made for some really late nights. Now we meet at another friend's home every two weeks to game and have fun. It works ou ...

Re: Texas Holdem No Limits - the only game in town?
I think Texas Hold Em's popularity is here to stay. It is everywhere on television. It's fun to watch and to play. I've tried watching some of the other poker tournaments on TV but quickly lost interest. Texas hold em has become very mainstream and ...
