LOL. It's like being next to a talker on an airline. I guess I feel really sorry for the talkers, but the definitely make me feel uncomfortable. I need to learn a bunch of excuses.

Out of Character
Do you ever play out of character. . . as in, do you ever act like someone other than your IRL self? Do you choose a different approach rather than get too close to reality or do you "come as you are?"

Ah, dinner. I don't play at dinnertime, so that never comes up, but the soft pretzel idea sounds really good. I like mine with dipping cheese though, so I won't safe my keyboard by switching.

Ah, I see how you are. LOL J/k. Actually that is an interesting observation. I had thought playing styles might vary a little, but can you tell online if you're playing a guy or a girl, even when people are using aliases?

I think that if they started getting more aggressive with players online, at home games might follow, but some people are going to play no matter what. It's likely the bets will change from money to something else, or perhaps there will be a lot of ...

I second guess my suspicions a lot. Sometimes, I shrug it off and think I've become paranoid, but the truth is, sometimes I just feel that it has to be cheating. I don't know. I'd hate to be wrong about something like that.

I don't use paypal for my poker online. Netteller is much more universal, and I think Paypal has rules against it, but they change TOS so often, it's likely that if there is any question about it, they won't allow it.

Yes. I use headphones and listen to upbeat music. I prefer things with a driving beat to keep me in rhythm with the game. Slow music gets on my nerves when I'm playing.

So, do any of you eat snacks while you're playing, or does that distract you? If so, what kind of snacks? I prefer chips and dip but I have to be careful about the keyboard. :(

Cheating etc....
Anyone run into games that felt like someone was cheating? I mean bad bets are one thing, but have you ever felt like someone was totally cheating? What did you do?

Venison Chili . . . we tried that. It was great and wasn't hard to do. I love cooking chilli and adding shredded cheese.

I've not heard that there is an anti check and raise. I suppose a lot of inexperienced players make errors in ettiquette. TV is as much to blame as just not knowing any better.

I think that any deception at the poker table isn't right. If they do it a lot, I would mention gently to them that they might decide to do things a little differently.
