Re: .Re: Best cheap shuffler? At my game, we run two decks. This way we always have a deck ready to go. The person next to deal (the small blind) will shuffle throughout the hand, and when it is his turn, they just cut, and we're ready to go. Re: Standar playing cards vs Well, you'd be suprised. Plastic should be the standard for poker cards. Especially if you have the felt to go along with it. I can take some pictures if you'd like...Anyways, the 2-$1 packs are OK if you don't play regularly like ... by Bryan in Equipment (Chips/Card/Timers) on 25 Oct 2006 9:17 PM

Re: Setting up a Tournament? Yep, I used to use HPT regularly when I first started out, using a lot of their print outs, and their free blind timer. Re: How would an online gambling crackdown affect live/home poker games? If anything, I think they'd become a lot more popular. Since they can't play online, where can they? Casinos are far to few, so I'm sure that people will see it as an opportunity to host more games, and try to make some more money from t ... by Bryan in General on 25 Oct 2006 9:11 PM

Re: Standar playing cards vs I'd stay away from it. You can use your average bicycle cards, but those'll get bent up out of shape easily. If you play often, invest in a deck from Copegs, or Kems. Re: Tracking your Poker Strategies If you're new to the game, then maybe this'll help you out. But in the long run, it just isn't worth it. Re: Setting up a Tournament? I host regularly. I find what works best for me is coming up with a "pre-determined" amount of starting chips...5,000 is usually the norm unless it is an unusually larger buy-in for that week.
