I prefer to play poker with guys. I can read them a lot better and they don't get all personal. Sometimes they can be jerks so I use a nondescript picture for my avatar rather than an IRL pic.

People have been doing stuff even though it's been considered illegal for a long time. Just think about moonshine and such. It's a silly law, but these sorts of laws go in and out all the time. I say it won't change playing for me.

I sometimes worry about being too chatty. I try to follow the lead of those around me and attempt not to bring up converstion unless someone talks to me.

Ah, that is awful. When it comes out of the blue like that, you're stuck thinking, "Woah, what just happened here?" That is so embarassing, kind of like a shocked expression on a country music cutie.
