| We are a small stakes poker league for fun and intellectual poker in Vancouver, Washington USA. We play a NLHE tourney once a month at my house, and a Champions tourney once a year. Thanks to DIY, we have a leaderboard that will keep track of everyone's finishes. Sign up for the league and add the app to your Facebook page, and you will be informed on when our tourneys are and you will be able to RSVP for the game!
OK, the game typically in the 2010 season will be a $25 buy-in, and limited to ten players. The top three players money, with Third getting their money back, Second getting a little more than twice their money, and First Place getting a little more than six times their money. Additionally, ten dollars is removed from the pot and set aside for the Champions Tourney on New Years' Day 2011. This will be the Champions Tourney, and will be a freeroll for the top ten players throughout the year (the ones with the most points of the leaderboard). The points are awarded as follows; You score ponts that are a direct inverse of your placing. In other words, if you finish first, you get ten points, and if you finish tenth, you get one point. If two players chop for first, they must come to an agreement on the placement, or they will take the 19 points and divide by two for a total of 9.5 points each. If two players go out in one hand, the one starting with more chips will be ranked higher than the one with less chips. Then the ten players with the most points at the end of the year will play in a Champions tourney for the $120 that comes out of the pot during the year. This tourney will be a top-two finish, First will get $100, and second will get $25. Not bad for winning throughout the year, right? The more games you play, the more points you can accumulate, so RSVP early and come every game you can, so you can rack up those points! |
